Family Support
- Information For Military Families - Assistance for service members and their families in preparing for and coping with deployments. This site contains family support links for each of the services, as well as information for children, locating service members and deployment entitlements.
- Fisher House - Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers to offer members of the military and their families a temporary place to stay while receiving specialized medical treatment.
- Coping with Trauma and Traumatic Events - A DoD web site devoted to reliable Quality of Life information designed to help troops and their families, leaders and service providers.
- VA and Related Benefits - Information on benefits for surviving spouse, dependent children and qualified dependent parents of deceased veterans and military service members.
- VA Bereavement Counseling Services - The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) offers bereavement counseling to parents, spouses and children of Armed Forces personnel who died in the service of their country. Also eligible are family members of reservists and National Guardsmen who die while on duty.
